Every member of the Center Target Sports family is passionate about the shooting sports industry and is here to share their experiences and excitement with you.

Deb Debbie Behary - Manager

Deb has been with CTS for 1 1/2 years and we're very happy that she's accepted the Manager position.  Deb started working part-time as a sales clerk then moved up to inventory clerk before becoming our manager. Originally from the Chicago area, Debbie has lived in Coeur d'Alene for 17 years. She first became acquainted with Center Target Sports by taking our Refuse to be a Victim class.  She went on to take several other classes and was hooked. Debbie is a member of GSSF and competes in our Glock League competition. In her free time, she loves to cook, read and play on the water with her family. Next time you're in introduce yourself.

John Babli John Balbi

John comes to us from a plant management manufacturing background. He is passionate about the shooting sports and loves being part of the Center Target Sports team. John is our resident computer guru and keeps Center Target up to date. He will greet you with a smile and do all he can to make your shooting experience a great one.

Ken Cramer Ken Cramer, Assistant Manager

Ken was born and raised Seattle's Northend. A former Marine, he spent 33 years in law-enforcement. Ken was a LE firearms instructor and in charge of his department's firearms training program. Ken may look familiar to some of you as he came to us via Cabelas.

Even though all the employees sign students up for classes, Ken is responsible for the class book and making sure everything runs smoothly. He has also started teaching some of beginner classes here at CTS and we are lucky to have him. If you have any concerns or questions about classes, feel free to ask for Ken.

Cameron Essary Cameron Essary

Cam has been a lifelong gun enthusiast. Growing up in Arizona, this self-described “desert rat” spent many hours of enjoyment hunting and plinking in the Sonoran Desert. Raising his family on 20 wooded acres in Northeastern Washington, he created his own shooting range and taught his 5 kids to shoot.

Always interested in learning more about his passion, Cam has studied gun-related publications for decades, building a wide-ranging store of knowledge.

His years as a steel fabricator and mechanic, combined with his fascination with firearms, made transitioning into gunsmithing a sure fit. He went from an active hobbyist to a certified gunsmith in 2005 and is Center Target Sports’ in-house gunsmith. Cam’s natural gift of “making something out of nothing” lends itself well to fabricating impossible-to-find parts and pieces.

Jack McElroy Jack McElroy

For over 49 years Jack has been actively involved in competitive marksmanship as a competitor, instructor and referee.

From 1960 thru the late 1980s, he participated in competitive "National Match", three-gun-aggregate pistol events. In 1983, and again in 1988, he was a competitor at the National Matches held in Camp Perry Ohio and also attended the US Army Small Arms firing School. He held an Outdoor Pistol, Expert classification

Beginning in the mid 1980s and thru the 1990s, heheld four NRA Instructor Certificates; Pistol, Rifle, Shotgun and "Voluntary Practical Firearms". Also for 8 years during the 1990s he held a Certified Skeet Referee credential and currently, Skeet and pistol shooting are his hobbies.  Jack conducts the weekly Bullseye Shoot and runs the monthly GSSF “Glock” shoots.

Paul Votava Paul Votava

Paul is a retired instrumentation engineer. His extensive design and field testing of weapons and their delivery systems, brings a real sensitivity to safety. After retiring, he finally had time for personal pursuits of civilian weapons. Our "science guy" says, always start with the basics. So, from military weapons he started one hobby of black powder muskets, rifles, pistols, and golf ball shooting cannons. That hobby was shared at Boy Scout Jamborees educating our youth.

He volunteers teaching 4th graders math and science. He is very proud of their new passion for science and their ability to compute the kinetic energy of a 18-wheeler vs. a mini van (reason for seat belts), and a 9-mm vs. a golf ball. "His" 4th graders love his CTS shirt.

Kelly McMahan Kelly McMahan

A native Californian, Kelly and her husband are new to Idaho. Happily leaving behind the responsibilities of her former bookkeeping position, she is thrilled to be the latest addition to Center Target Sports. She is a member of SistersontheFly.com and never misses an opportunity to hook up her vintage trailer (a 1959 Corvette) for a Sisters' camping trip. She caravans with other Sisters from around the country to pursue a weekend or a week of fly fishing, dutch-oven cooking, shooting, shopping and girl time. Her indoor passions include cooking, sourdough bread making and a rousing game of pinochle or spades.

Keith McMahan Keith McMahan

Keith hails from a small town in California.  After many years as a diesel mechanic and then as a fleet services manager, Keith semi-retired and moved with his wife Kelly to North Idaho in 2010.  He still tinkers on engines but prefers lawn mowers and snow blowers these days to those powering eighteen wheelers.  He plays golf as weather permits and when he's not swinging a club during the summer he is likely casting a line trying to land that ever elusive record breaking fish.  He's also an avid bow, rifle and black powder hunter and enjoys both modern and vintage firearms.  Keith is pleased to join the CTS family and will do his best to help you any way he can.
