This is an 8 hour course limited to 10 students. The primary goal of this course is to teach the students how to cope with Low Light or No Light situations. In addition, we will discuss and teach several methods of using a Flashlight. Through the use of classroom presentation and practical exercises the students will develop skills and confidence in their ability to safely engage targets in the dark.
Taught by the author of "Rule the Night, Win the Fight", a certified Low-Light instructor you will learn to use light to:
- Dominate your environment
- Control your subject
- Increase your shooting accuracy
- Better identify your target and assess the threat.
This course will conclude with a course review, written examination and shooting evaluation.
All instruction materials, range time, and targets are provided by Center Target Sports. The student is required to provide a handgun, eye and ear protection, flashlight or weapons mounted light, billed baseball type hat, 250 rounds of ammunition, and a strong side holster.
Pre-requisites include successful completion of a CTS 200 or 300 level course. Students who have not completed a 200 or 300 level course must contact the instructor prior to registration for approval.
All graduates receive a Certificate of Completion.
